"Adorable local cottage in a very small town. We stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment on the second floor. Neighbors gave us a walking tour and showed us their garden and taught us history of the area. "

"The apartment was spacious and comfortable. The bed wasn't the greatest - the mattress is very firm. The location was good, central to the island so we could explore all regions over three days. There is a small grocery store just down the street and a great restaurant within walking distance. A guestbook would be helpful as we drove 20 minutes to find a grocery store on our first day. Check-in was seamless and the apartment was very clean. Overall we were very happy with our stay. "

"Our stay here could not have been better. Joana and her father's hospitality were fantastic. They are very welcoming hosts who made us feel at home immediately. This a great spot to relax and from which to explore Pico. Amenities are excellent and you are very close to a local "natural swimming pool" and ocean side "pub". Pico is a large island with a lot to see and do so if you are staying here I would recommend a rental car. Thank you Joana and Francisco for a wonderful stay!"

"La maison est très bien placée pour visiter l'île. Proximité de la mer ( énormes vagues qu'on regarderait pendant des heures ) et vue sur le Pico que nous avons aussi pu faire jusqu'au sommet dans d'excellentes conditions. Marco est très réactif. Nous avons pu rencontrer Jason qui est de très bons conseils pour les visites. Le seul bémol pour nous est que les espaces nuit ne soient pas fermés. Il n'y a pas vraiment de chambres. "Foi muito fácil combinar tudo com a gerência do estabelecimento. Embora tenhamos feito o check in tarde fomos muito bem recebidos pela Elisabete que nos mostrou a casa e nos deu um mapa e imensas dicas de sítios para visitar e comer. A casa é muito gira e acolhedora e fica localizada numa zona calma e bastante bonita perto do mar. Deixaram-nos um cesto de boas vindas com coisas típicas da ilha que apreciámos bastante. Adorámos a casa e a estadia no Pico :) "

"What a great host and the setting was absolutely heavenly. We came so my wife and daughters experience Pico as it was the home of my Avo and Ava who where from Lages do Pico and they get to know there heritage. We will return again for a much longer stay and the people of the Pico are warm and friendly will to assist. "The house location was good, the village and the natural pool very nice. *****BUT****** the house was not at all the one described. Only 2 rooms instead of 3 announced ! The third room behind the house was closed and, when we found the key, what a surprise ! A very bad surprise ! It seems to be abandoned for several years. All inside was so wet, moldy and dirty.
