"Wow, that first impression when we walked in just before sunset. That impression will stay with me. Every morning we would sit and enjoy our coffees on the front deck for hours. The howlers kept us company a few mornings, so between the view and the monkeys, you couldn’t ask for more. The kitchen was well equipped and the beds very comfy and had lots of storage. Finally, the property managers at Samara and Kristina the owner were all so helpful and kind. I would love to go back one day. "

"A completely run down place. When entering the room there was mouse poop on the beds and the shelves. Taking a shower was impossible because there wasn’t enough water available. Place is not safe. Long dark walkways without any illumination in the property to get to your cabin. At night lots of traffic noise and parties in the neighborhood. Not recommendable"

"This place was absolutely wonderful and I don’t have one negative thing to say. The rooms were clean, large and comfortable. The grounds were lush and gorgeous. The water slide was super fun. The staff especially at the front desk and restaurant were kind, accommodating and very attentive. I travelled with 3 boys ages 12, 10 and 7. I would highly recommend this place in La Fortuna."
