"We booked this property as a girl holiday getaway for my 40th birthday celebrations. Overall we had a nice stay and found the location great to be able to visit some really stunning towns and villages nearby including Dome, Rocamadour and also had the opportunity to do cannoing in the Dordogne river as it’s such a great spot for it. In terms of the house itself, it had the main things we wanted but I wish the outside area by the pool would have had more greenery or at least a bit of grass....

The house and setting were beautiful, the pool was an absolute delight, the river was close by and deliciously cooling and everything was high quality, worked well and had been thoroughly thought through. You are surrounded by beautiful countryside and the local town, Sarlat de Caneda well worth visiting. Lucille, the house manager, was very welcoming and responsive, and spoke English - which helped!
