"My family of five had a wonderful stay at this house. The host had everything we needed at the house. It was extremely clean and very welcoming. The host was available for resources during our stay. Also had suggestions for traveling. We would definitely stay at this lovely home again. "

"A beautiful spacious house, nicer than in the photos. Comfy bed and we appreciated the Christmas decorations. Had a nice wakk past the lake and up the hill in to the woods. "

"Ideal location with charming village area nearby. Easy walk to local pub and to the water. Flat was spacious and well equipped; but could have used a bit more maintenance and some air freshener (near the sea, so a bit of a damp, musty smell). It was a bit farther from central Edinburg (~40 min) than I had expected; but the quaint village feel of the area was well worth the few extra minutes drive. All in all a nice place to support local sight seeing and day trips."

"What a lovely cottage! It had everything we needed for our 3 night stay. Beautiful, quiet setting near Stirling. We explored the jail and the castle. Took the train to Edinburgh (not a lot of parking at the station). Drove to the ferry to Isle of Arran (take your car if you can). This cottage is in a great location for touring the Edinburgh/Glasgow area."

"Exactly what we were looking for. A bit remote but gorgeous surroundings. Rustic chic looking but with modern amenities. Epitome of peaceful and cozy. Hosts even provided a Christmas Tree!"

"There was a Christmas tree and decorations which made the house feel quite festive. The house was very comfortable and warm with plenty of space for the family of 5 adults and a dog. The facilities were a bit mixed - The living room tv was not working but this was sorted quite quickly. The kitchen is great to cook in but could do with another fridge or wine cooler as only a standard under worktop one provided. Not quite enough for lots of food and drinks. "Had a great stay over new year at the properties. One family in one bungalow and us in the other. Property was clean and fresh. Beautiful welcome items left for us by the owners, who were lovely and couldnt do enough for us. Woke up to the spectacular views and literally could have sat and watched the horses all day! The lodges were cosy and warm. We all loved it. The only thing i would have preferred was a slightly earlier check-in time, perhaps 3pm instead of 5pm. But thats just wee personal...
