"We were a bit sceptical about the hotel after reading reviews about the food and rooms. We stayed six nights and upgraded to all inclusive. It was myself, my 14 year old and my 11 year old. The hotel is located in a small quiet bay where you can walk to restaurants and shops where you can potter about. "Lovely hotel in a great location. It has a beautiful pool and new-ish sun loungers. The room was functional. We hired the safe for €3 per day. The maid visited daily and tidied the room well. A relatively minor grumble...the beds were not the most comfortable. Our stay was in late October so the hotel was very, very quiet and many bars, restaurant and shops in Es Cana had already closed or closed while we were in town. "The family room was great for us and would recommend for other families like ours. Is in a great location near the beach and the fairground. The pools are very nice for the kids. The meal times were a little inconvenient for us, dinner started at 7pm by which time our young children are usually in bed! Luckily, there are a lot of great restaurants easily walkable that we utilised nearer the end of our stay. We have been to Es Canar many times and love it, we will be returning."

"We stayed just one night on our way through to a different area on the island and weren't sure what to expect from the star rating however the staff couldn't have been more lovely. We had a shocking journey over from UK with a flight delayed several hours and huge delay collecting our car hire meaning we didn't arrive until after 1am and with two very tired young children in tow we were struggling to park nearby. "We had a lovely holiday in Es Canar and the hotel was well located near where the airport bus leaves you, restaurants and the beach. The room had a great sea view, basic furniture and was clean. The facilities like swimming pool were great with a bar service. The staff were very friendly. Overall we liked the hotel but there are a couple of things we didn't enjoy such as the hard bed and the fact you could hear your next door room's conversations and TV. "

"The apartment was lovely, clean and comfortable. We like to cook and the facilities were good. The location is ideal too, close to a gorgeous beach. All the staff are so helpful and friendly, they helped to make our holiday special. Without a car it is quite a walk to the supermarkets but that is my only negative comment."
