"Very attractive gastro pub off the beaten track. Excellent food and range of drinks. I was fortunate the weather was glorious so an evening in the beer garden was appreciated. The room was a good size if only a little dated. The large sash window offered little in sound proofing but had the most glorious view across a field of sunflowers. "We were given room 4, apparently it has an Infamous reputation as the lad who looks after the hotel called a few hours before check-in to ask if we wanted to find alternative accommodation due to the amount of complaints they have about this room. Unfortunately Hotels.com were not especially helpful in changing our booking and we were about to set off so opted to just keep the room. It is at the top of the hotel, 4 flight of stairs up. "It was a nice room, tastefully decorated. Comfy bed, clean white bedding. Nice clean white towels. Great pressure from the shower head, plenty of hot water. Radiators were on when I arrived, so lovely and warm in the room. Fridge, microwave, utensils, breakfast bar with tall stools. TV all good."

"The single room room 1. Was a good size with sink and balcony door open to key breeze through. .the staff were great and very attentive. They gave me a fridge as i was there 1 week.. I appreciated that. I WOULD Definitely use lyndhurst again"
