"The Harborside is a fine spot. It's a bit tired, but it's good value for the money. The AC works very well, so important in this part of the world. The pool is weak, but the place is really best as a one night crash pad. They will try to upsell you on check in, so be ready for that. The front desk staff has an odd air of superiority and importance for the most part. The Duty Manager, I forget his name, was particularly self important. Funny really, I think he instills that in others, because...

"Loved everything about this property. Room was nicely sized. Bathroom was great. Lots of towels and shampoo, conditioner, lotion, body wash, etc. Plenty of places to lay out your suitcase. Loved the tea in the room. Breakfast buffet was delicious!"

"Excellent location. Close to everything and connected to he night market and Esplanade. My complaint is that they don't wash their pillows and one of mine smelled like it was soaked in sweat, not necessarily body odour, but moreso like a wet towel, from the previous guests who used the room and they only changed out the pillow case. It was so bad I had to throw it in one corner of the room. My second room (had 2 different bookings) was a lot better. But there was a lingering musty smell...
