Casa Cúcula Pool House

Welcome to our charming little Casa Cucula Pool House!

We are located just 5 minutes away from the little town of Puerto Viejo, and a less than 5-minute walk to Cocles Beach.

The house consists of two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a nice open living room connecting with the well-equipped kitchen.
In the kitchen, you will find it is equipped with a gas stove, toaster oven, blender, coffee maker, rice cooker, all the pots, and pans... perfect for your home-cooked meals!

The main bedroom has a queen-size bed and a private full bathroom with hot water. The second bedroom has a queen-sized bed and an individual bed.

We have 50 Mbps of high-speed fiber optic internet for digital nomads to stay connected while enjoying the sounds of nature and chilling in the pool.

Enjoy the beautiful terrace overlooking the river, and the plunge pool under the tree canopy, sunbathing on our lounge chairs.

There is private parking for 2 cars, and an alarm system for extra security of the house.

Jungle stay
You’re in the jungle. Full on. There’s not much sun because of the density of the trees, but there’s tons of wildlife and great food nearby. Very cute little house, but the beds will kill you if you’re old. Lol. The staff was very helpful and overall it’s a nice place.

La casa con todos los servicios para disfrutar, y se puede caminar hacia la playa Cambio de cortinas que ya están bien usadas, Un ventilador es muy ruidoso para dejarlo puesto en la noche. El ruido de los carros depende de las personas para conciliar el sueño, a mi si me molesto para dormir bien, y nos toco muy transitado.

Me gusta mucho la terraza con el area de piscina, es sumamente espaciosa y cómoda. La ubicación es excelente, se encuentra cerca de playa Cocles y playa Chiquita y todos los restaurantes y tiendas. La limpieza del lugar podría ser un poco mejor, también considerar qué hay una cantidad considerable de insectos dentro de la casa, se ven muchas cucarachas y lagartijas por toda la casa, en la cocina, baños… también el baño principal podría ser cerrado para evitar todos estos insectos dentro de la casa. Y los paños están muy medidos, considerando que serán los mismos durante todos los días de estadía.

Great house to relax with friends or family. Has all the things needed for cooking and going to the beach. The beach is only a 5 mins walk away as are grocery stores. Very responsive host. Would recommend!!

Agradabilidad, comodidad y veracidad
El estilo caribeño, espacio apropiado y las comodidades necesarias y bastantes ventiladores. Que sea cómoda en todas sus habitaciones según lo prometido, como se ve en las fotos y que haya mucha fauna en los árboles que dan sombra a la propiedad. Que las terrazas (recibidor, corredor y piscina) son bien cómodas para hasta 6 personas. Que la pequeña piscina sea apropiada para refrescarse con la familia o amigos y tomar algo. Ya sabía que no es para nadar, es más como un jacuzzi, y tiene un baño completo para no tener que entrar a la casa cada vez. Fue excelente tener parrilla junto al río con su propia mesa de jardín. Los anfitriones fueron muy atentos a resolver cualquier problema o consulta. La relación calidad precio fue apropiada y la ubicación es excelente a pasos de la calle principal y de la playa Cocles y del supermercado y de restaurantes. El estacionamiento es cómodo para dos carros y la seguridad incluía caja de seguridad y alarma. La casa y el servicio es muy bueno en todo aspecto. Poner más comodidades como A/C, centro de lavado, TV, microondas para ser excelente obligaría a aumentar el precio, sin embargo, manteniendo las condiciones pueden mejorar en poner una luz para área de parrilla, mejorar la parrilla que es muy gruesa y alta y por lo tanto lenta. Además la refrigeradora ya necesita cambio, ya que terminó enfriando como hasta el tercer día y no muy bien. Los "clósets" pueden mejorar mucho y requieren perchas para colgar ropa. Finalmente las chicas de limpieza pueden revisar mejor la entrada de la propiedad antes del check in pues la fauna deja marcas en la entrada imposibles de no notar.

Lovely place!
El uso del espacio de la propiedad, un detalle tan sencillo como la mesa para parrillada lo hace mil veces mejor y puede uno disfrutar de esa parte de la casa también, la casa está muy bien cuidada a pesar de ser de madera, nos encantó que esté tan bien equipada y todos los detalles como las flores de decoracion :) y la atención desde el principio ha sido excelente, además me encantó el ingreso a la casa, muy sencillo llegar y que las llaves estén ya ahí para acceso rápido y sin necesidad de presencia de los dueños :) En alguna parte se debería indicar que la calle que pasa al frente es súper transitada, en las mañanas es un poco dificil de dormir de la cantidad de ruido de carros que hay. Además podrían considerar hacer una cerca natural más alta al costado derecho de la propiedad, conjunto al lote vació, pues no hay privacidad cuando uno está en el area de piscina, la gente pasa y casi es como que estuvieran ahí con uno jeje

Excelente atención, un lugar de buen acceso, cercano a los demas servicios, a la playa rodiado de la naturaleza. Recomiendo una barandita en la gradita de la picina, al bajar resbala al dar el primer paso.
