"Wir haben uns sehr zu Hause gefühlt, denn die Gegend und die Art, das Haus einzurichten und zu bewirtschaften entsprechen unserem Geschmack und Stil sehr, den wir in unserem eigenen Landhaus in Deutschland leben. Auf englisch könnte man das von Liane sehr gut verwaltete Anwesen der freundlichen Gastgeber wohl am besten mit 'Slow Tourism' umschreiben. Wir kommen gern wieder!"

"The house is beautifully restored…better in person than in the pictures. Rachel snd Fred were very helpful hosts and stay nearby. The whole experience was wonderful - beautiful house in a charming village with option to take daily walks. Other villages just 5-10km away with grocery stores and restsurants- notably Les Arques, Catus and St Médard. Great water sports at Le Lac Vert in Catus. The house also has beautiful gardens and pool with stunning views of neighboring countryside."

"We had a wonderful time at the gite. It is beautifully maintained with everything that you need. Comfy outside furniture and comfy beds! The pool area was very relaxing and quiet. Evelyn and Alain are great hosts and were on hand for anything we needed weather it be a restaurant recommendation or accompanying us to the vets to get our dogs sorted for coming home! "Stayed for 5 days with our children 12 and 15. House and pool beautiful, immaculate. So peaceful. Everything you need. The only thing I would say is that we didn’t realise from the listing that two of the three bedrooms are outside of the main house on another level down some outside steps, although still attached to the house. This could affect a family if their children were much you her than ours. Great stay and would definitely return."

"From initial booking our contact with Camilla was very helpful. She answered our questions promptly and provided thorough information as our stay approached. The property was in a beautiful rural location but within 15 minutes of Caylus with bars and a small but well stocked supermarket. Les T° ne nous ont pas permis de profiter de la piscine mais il y a tant à faire que ce n'est pas grave! Le gîte contient tous les équipements nécéssaires et est fidèle à la description. "

Authentic holiday home with private pool

Dated, inaccurate description, poor communication

"The property is dated and in need of some TLC, there are things within the property that do not work such as the TV, the channel box was broken when we arrived, in spite of reporting the fault it was never fixed, there are multiple extension cords around the property, not sure if it meets basic health and safety standards. Most frustrating part is the situation with linen, although linen is provided, however, beds are not made on arrival and the condition of the linen can be best described as shabby and old, we asked care taker can we at least have matching bed linen, however, we were told the previous family had 10 guests and they used all the linen. You can enjoy the pool after you have cleaned it of the bugs. Shower cubicle needs attention as the door is cracked and we were informed that the previous guests broke it!! Hmmm! Looked broken for a while to us. Now! Good bits - if you want piece and quite this is a perfect location with small villages around the corner, wildlife and insects are in abundance, there is resident mantis in the kitchen window, wild cat that lives within one of the old barn at the back and if you are quiet you might see a dear roaming around within the grounds. I suppose! The big question- will we book again the property and with Vrbo? Answer is an emphatic NO. Vrbo did not even acknowledge the concerns we raised as soon as we arrived, in fact we are still waiting for a response! Not impressed and over priced."
