"No emergency numbers ie Doctor ,Dentist, Vet, Fire or flood or electricity. No information about shops bars restaurants or places to visit. Very very overlooked and close to neighbours with barking dogs and Crowing early morning Cockerel!!!. Had NO contact with owner apart from 1 Phone call never saw the man . Unable to discuss various problems with A The oven that kept switching itself off and didn’t,t reach temperature! B Front door unable to lock properly!"

"The villa is perfect for a large group. it caters for all ages. there is a fantastic supermarket close by. The facilities in the complex are great. some lovely beeches a short drive away. car recommended if you want to go out and about. Communication with the host was always excellent and professional - thanks so much!"

"Really enjoyed our week's stay. Fantastic property, clean very well appointed and the host was very kind in leaving us some items for arrival. Comporta area was very quiet which for us was perfect, no need for reservations at restaurants even at the weekend. Due to the off season it meant driving out to dinner to Comporta of other places which were all within 10 minutes."

"The property is in an elevated location just outside the town, with beautiful views over the sea and Sétubal. It's in walking distance of shops, restaurants, and beaches but I would strongly recommend a car as the hill is quite steep. There's plenty of parking space. "Nice quiet stay away from the hustle of downtown Comporta (~12 min drive). I enjoyed walking to nearby local coffee shop for my espresso and the Leonardo supermarket for some daily supplies. I’m a little on the taller side; so, had to watch my head when walking through the doors (not an issue if one is under 5’10”). Otherwise, having a/c here is a big plus and necessary given the strong summer alentejo sun."

"House was great but with few issues (TV not working on the resort, leak of AC) Restaurants are a bit far but the location is perfect if you want to access the beach. Will return without any hesitation to the house."

"Fizemos early check in sem problemas. Chegamos mais cedo e já tinham o quarto pronto e deixaram-nos entrar. Perto da praia, muito sossegado. "When we arrived the place was clean and organized. It is located in a very quiet place. It is a good place to take a break from the city. It has good access to the beach and the villages in the neighbourhood I had all the essentials for a short break. Overall a very cosy place."
