We have stayed at Villa Del Palmar twice. We love the location, being on the beach but within a 15 min walk to the Marina. The facilities are great and there are lots of activities, including four pickleball courts.

Proximity to the beach/ocean was great just steps from property amenities. Staff was very friendly & whenever you had questions there was always someone who could help. Property is very close to shopping at street vendors and/or marina malls/restaurants. Rooms were nice equipped with kitchen should you want to cook.

II've actually tried all three resorts, Arcos, Estancia, and Palmar. Palmar tends to be busier compared to the other options. It really comes down to what you're looking for!

An average hotel, walkable to Marina, about 20 minutes, if walking is no issue. Liked the rooms with a kitchen since we did not get all inclusive. Nice gym and spa services. Did not care much for the pool area, kind of small, and the beach area was ok but the amount of souvenir/excursion sellers was just too much! We did not like the construction and the biggest issue, wifi was down the ENTIRE stay!!!! I guess you get what you paid for….

There was no internet. Mobile signals were also very weak Very limited food choices Swimming pool gets closed at 8:00 pm , there are no sufficient lights in the pool for the evening time. The room kit doesn’t include Tea bags, one tea bag cost $5 USD
