"The hotel is in the center of town with short walks to the Medina and bus station. The rooms were clean and modern. The staff were extremely helpful. The nightly rate was about a third of the rate of a comparable hotel in the EU. Excellent!"

During our check-in, I was feeling quite unwell, and they treated me like family, which I truly appreciated. Mr. Houdaifa, in particular, was exceptionally supportive. The food was delicious, and our room was stylish with an amazing view. Overall, we had a marvelous experience at the St. Regis, thanks to its outstanding team!"

"The place is very nice with very nice and comfortable furniture. However, there were some major things that you expect to have that we either went without or had to contact the owner to get. For example: 1) We had 8 people and they only supplied 4 towels until we requested more. We had 2) We had to request the hot water to be turned on and then it only worked once so we were only able to take one hot shower over the course of two days.3) The master bathroom toilet does not work. 4) The master bedroom heater does not work. There is no heater/AC in any other room except the main living room. 5) There were no kitchen chairs. 6) There was no soap for cleaning dishes.7) There were no garbage cans except one small one in the master bathroom. And finally, the listing shows a picture of the beach in the background from the parking lot. That is not accurate. The beach is about a 10 minute walk and it is covered in garbage. In fairness, many of these are easily solved issues. Like I said, it is a very nice place and the owner was kind and communicative. But it simply was not ready for tenants when we went. "
