"This property is very beautiful, the pool is really nice and the villas are excellent and the view will take your breath away. The walk to town is 25 minutes and the hill is tough to walk if you are not in good shape. The owner lives on site, he is a friendly man but there is no reception and check in information was sent to me the day I arrived and had no internet connection. "Just my son and I on this trip. The house was amazing, pool was great and the house staff cleaned and made beds everyday. It was very impressive. The concierge was great and she helped us book surfing lessons with a great guy. They had four wheelers booked and delivered to the house, waiting for us. Food in the area was amazing. "

"A completely run down place. When entering the room there was mouse poop on the beds and the shelves. Taking a shower was impossible because there wasn’t enough water available. Place is not safe. Long dark walkways without any illumination in the property to get to your cabin. At night lots of traffic noise and parties in the neighborhood. Not recommendable"

"This property does not disappoint. The description and pictures are accurate. The concierge Sophie was very helpful and communicative. Our family loved the beach, the pool, and the outdoor areas for relaxing. The house is within walking distance of many great restaurants - no car or ATV needed. "This house could not have been designed better for large families or groups visiting ST. From the start Lucia was communicative, friendly and super helpful. "Our family of four stayed between Christmas and New Years. The house was perfect - great views and great location. Right in the middle of Santa Teresa. The host was incredible. So helpful before and during the trip with reservations, cars, etc. We used LocalBird for fishing, snorkeling, etc. We missed our flight from San Jose to Cobano and there were no other flights. The host quickly helped us come up with Plan B including a driver. Saved tge day!!!"

"The villa is beautiful and the view is spectacular. You definitely need ATVs to get up and down but these are the perfect way to travel in Santa Teresa. Judit, the house manager, is super efficient and her husband, Cesar, is an exceptional surf teacher. Highly recommend this place for a family getaway! "

"PROS: - AMAZING property. We hangout at the pool almost every day. There are only 5 rooms (3 bungalows and 2 'glamping' tents) so it was almost like we had a private pool every day. Impeccable views from the pool. - Made to order breakfast every morning (free) served on the deck overlooking the jungle and ocean. Meal changed every morning. Usually was some sort of egg dish (scramble, omelet, etc.) with toast. One morning was chia seed pudding with fruit on top. Always fresh cut fruit and fresh juice on side. Such an amazing highlight of the day. - A staff member manned the bar/reception until late morning and then again in the evening. They were super helpful in arranging EVERYTHING. We arrived late in the evening our first night and were starving. The hotel is up in the jungle and a little difficult to access without an ATV. The receptionist was able to give us a few options for good delivery, took our order, and arranged delivery. They also arranged our ATV rental and horseback riding. Almost every day we asked for dinner/lunch/takeout recommendations. Seriously so helpful with everything you might need. Was also able to WhatsApp message them if away from hotel. When you're in a foreign country and don't speak the language, the help they provided was invaluable. CONS: - Although it's a double-edged sward, the incredible views did come with the fact that you had to get up/down the hill every time you left. Renting an ATV is a MUST - Wish they provided beach towels"
