"Tide Hotels knows how to do hospitality! Right from when I arrived I was welcomed as if I had been a guest many times before. Room service and restaurant service was friendly, meals were of good portion size and tasty. The room is well appointed with a comfortable bed and deck overlooking the river (if you choose this option). Shower has good water pressure and the bath salts provided are really nice. Would 10/10 stay again "

"Chelsea Park Motor lodge is a great base for exploring Nelson and surrounding area. Approximate 10 minute walk from main shopping street and some of the town's parks. The room was spacious and comfortable with a small kitchen area including fridge. The hosts were friendly and helpful offering advise on places to visit/ eat. Also, they went above and beyond when I accidentally stood at the wrong location for the morning bus shuttle to Abel Tasman park and missed the pick up. I had stayed 2 nights but wish I had allowed a longer stay in my itinerary."

"We are in Nelson every year for an AGM and try to stay at Hotel Nelson when it’s available. Every time we have been very happy with the service and value we have received. We were upgraded this time and our 2 bedroom apartment was huge. Very comfortable and close to town. Would definitely recommend "
