"We really enjoyed our time at the cabin. The cabin is very spacious and well appointed. We ate most of our meals in and found everything we needed - from salt & pepper, pans, knives, cutting boards to the nice outdoor grill. The listing doesn't show the master bedroom/bath, but they are spacious, and the bath has two vanities, stand up shower as well as a large, jetted tub (we didn't use the tub). Showers were very hot, and the water pressure is amazing! The porch wraps around 3/4 of the cabin and has a patio table and rockers with ceiling fans to keep you cool! The deck on the river side is large with a patio table. The deck was the perfect place to read or do yoga, while listening the flow of the river and taking in the amazing canyon view. The river is beautiful with crystal clear water. Our week was very hot so spent a lot of time sitting in the river to cool off. We enjoyed walking the river's edge to check out the rocks and nature. Lots of nature - resident blue heron, bald eagle, box turtle, lizards, crawfish. The canyon only has about 5 houses and is extremely peaceful. We only saw one set of neighbors one time. It was a great place to unplug (although wifi and tv work great)! We did a few hikes in the Pickett State Park and Bunkham cave and both were beautiful areas. We also visited The Lavender on K&S farm and thoroughly enjoyed it! Karl and Sue are amazing people with a cool story to share. Their animals, gardens and little store are beautiful!"

"The property was great and fit our needs well for our family. We have been coming to the lake for over a decade and stayed at dozens of properties and this has the best lake view we have seen. Communication was good and process was smooth. Overall an amazing property that we really enjoyed!"

"Owner is very nice. Good place to stay. Affordable. She asked me for honest feedback so here goes. Overall a nice place. Had all of the major points we were looking for, so a positive experience. Pool table played straight, sticks provided were pretty good and straight. Hot tub worked nicely. Some improvements could be made though, and not nitpicking just honest feedback. Towels, bring extra, minimal provided, had to buy extra for hot tub use and not have to wash every day. Pots and pans were old and should be replaced, coating scratched off. Bring ice, one freezer had cheap and broken trays. Some kitchen utensils were cheap and not easy to use like the big spoons. Could use more plates , we did dishes at least every day and only had one dish pod per day, had to buy more as well as paper towels. Appliances were older but worked. Could use larger beds throughout, although they would take up more space in the bedrooms I think ppl would be ok with that. Only sheer curtains, needs blinds!, we had to hang towels (bought) to block the sun, wasn’t a fan of waking up with the sun. Main windows could use tint, sun really heats up main living space. Gas grill worked pretty well, best on right side. Decor was old and some odd for a cabin in the woods. Some other little odd things here and there, nothing major. Could use some small smart TV’s in the bedrooms as well. Overall a nice place, just could use some updates. You will drive 10-15 miles if you need anything FYI."

"Very cool vibe at the Hut!! Loved all the King beds with soft bedding and comfortable pillows! Plenty of bathrooms! Great dining spaces inside and out! Well stocked kitchen! Fireplaces, sports court, air hockey plus theatre room provided plenty of fun after a day on the lake! Host was great! Mike went the extra mile to accommodate our family reunion! Thanks so much!"

"Perfect place for a peaceful and relaxing getaway. Cabin was extremely clean.Caught a few fish. Pier was great setup to fish off. The porch had a beautiful view and was nice to sit under one rainy afternoon. Little shops near by. Saw a bear cub while out driving which was pretty awesome.Highly recommend staying and we plan to come back. Thanks so much."
