My room was comfortable and spacious, making it a pleasant retreat after a day of work. However, it did have a few minor issues. The bedroom could benefit from a fresh coat of paint, as some areas looked a bit worn. Additionally, there was noticeable limescale on the bath taps and plug hole, which detracted slightly from the overall cleanliness and appearance. Despite these small imperfections, my stay at The Welcombe Hotel was thoroughly enjoyable. The excellent service and welcoming atmosphere made it a memorable visit. I would certainly consider returning in the future and recommend it to others seeking a charming and comfortable stay."

"All the staff very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was great and our room was very nice with a good view and a very comfortable bed. Lovely out door area to sit and chill in the evening. Evening meals excellent and restaurant really nice. Only down side & very minor was the Wi-Fi not great but as I said this is a very minor point because the rest makes up for that xx"

"Great spa facilities. Extensive picturesque grounds for golfing . We enjoyed a relaxing swim followed by a lovely dinner. We were lucky to have had great weather to enjoy the beautiful grounds for a summer evening stroll. We could not fault the breakfast, lots of choices and variety of options for every taste and the waiting staff were so attentive. A thoroughly enjoyable stay. "

"We went to a friends anniversary party and stayed overnight the room was a twin it was nice adequate litte dated but was acceptable for a night's stay found it bit too warm we were on ground floor and room had heavy sash window which was heavy and difficult to lift so didn't open it Breakfast was good plenty of choice and would return"
