Be aware rooms in main building have very low head room until your in the rooms, but rooms are lovely and generally well maintained. Could do with a small desk or work area for business travellers. "The food in The Lion was first class, and the service from Elisha and Mark. However the room had a few problems 1 the hot water was scolding instantly and no mixer , if any child opens the hot tap they woild have 3rd degree burns. 2 the coffee machine had no water chamber ( missing ) 3 there was no bulb in the table lamp Room was clean just not maintained regular in my opinion , ive been in the trades for 40 years so all the jobs would take an hour After saying that i would still stay...

"Lovely stay at the Bell , we stayed on the hotel side not restaurant side . In a floor level room . We were greated by the lovely Katherine i think that was her name , who went through the welcoming chat and safety. Nice to be explained all to make you feel at ease . The room had high ceiling with just the right furniture, for what you needed for a night away & ensuite bathroom with shower & bath . Room was clean and bed comfortable. With tea & coffee facilities. Many thanks ... We would stay...

"(Stayed in Room 2) Firstly the food was absolutely fantastic! I mean wow, wow, wow. Devoured the lot! 5* for the food. We would happily come for dinner again and again. The room was pleasant, clean and the bath was lovely and spacious (could fit two SLIM people satisfactory). Loved the tea selection and mini fridge compliments as well! However, when you opened the cupboard with the ironing board, a smell of mouldy cheese comes wafting out (so I quickly closed that and moved swiftly on) we booked...
