"I have stayed here many times but not since the renovations and even then it was a great stay! The Staff was fantastic and welcoming, we received an early check-in, food and beverage credit PLUS a room upgrade. The room was spectacular, The Pfister King Suite ... we hardly wanted to leave it. The history and overall vibe of this hotel is wonderful, plus a great lobby bar with several dining options on-site. We can't wait for our next stay and will be back. "

We visit from Chicago 2-3 times a year and have stayed many places, but it's rare to find a combination of ideal location, free breakfast buffet, free happy hour and meal (which could pass for dinner), great service, nice rooms, indoor pool and gym. Truly, it has everything... and it's walkable to just about everything. "
