"We absolutely loved this property. Looked like it was just recently renovated… so clean and organized. Loved the decor with the hanging swing and the windows let in so much light. The view overlooking the canal was perfect. Location was so convenient to everything… Great restaurants and shops right nearby. Host was very friendly, helpful and kind. Would definitely recommend!"

"We spent our last five nights at MercedesB&B. The location was really handy to many attractions in Amsterdam. Isobel was very helpful, and with just a mention she had already ordered our ride to the airport five days later, at no cost to us. Breakfast was included at a lovely restaurant/coffee shop about one block away. Both she and her husband were a wealth of information. I hope we have this same luck getting accommodation when travelling to other destinations."

"Can't say enough about the location - easy to get everywhere and so close to canals, boutiques and restaurants. It is in a quaint but busy area. The bedroom in the back is very quiet once you shut the door to the front room that faces the street. Totally recommend.One note is the property manager prefers to communicate via Whatsapp which is totally normal for Europeans. "Stayed in the Canal View Stay for a week with my daughter. Johannes, the host, greeted us when we arrived and showed us the room, gave us some tips and recommendations for exploring the area, and made us feel immediately comfortable and welcomed. The location, close to the entrance of Vondelpark, was convenient to transportation, close to bakeries, drugstores, grocery stores and pharmacies, and far enough away from the city center to feel quiet.
