"Fishermans Cot is situated in a truly beautiful position beside the River Exe. Many of the roads in the area are very narrow and demading, especially if you are unable to occasionally reverse on meeting a caravan in tow or a wide vehicle. Food at the hotel was good in quality apart from the Continental Breakfast that had a poor and very limited variety of items. Staff were very friendly and attentive; accommodation warm, clean and comfortable and overall value and eg bar prices competitive. "

"We used the Inn for an overnight stay after visiting RHS Rosemore. It was very easy to get to on the A39 and had excellent free parking. The host called us in advance to see if we needed a table for dinner and gave us a warm welcome on arrival. The rooms were comfortable spacious and spotlessly clean. It is an old inn and some of the furnishings are a bit worn but seemed to be part of the ambience. Both dinner and breakfast were excellent and served in a friendly but efficient way. I would...
