"Nice hotel. Quite grand in an understated way. Very good breakfast - Arbroath smokies be poached eggs, which I thought was pretty classy. Apparently winston churchill stayed here loads. Would be good if the hotel had a little info in the plaque explaining why he spent so much time in Dundee. The fella seemed to get about, but the interesting to know what he was up to regardless "

"Beautiful grounds along the River Tay with woodland walks. Close to Dunkeld town. Spa facilities at the hotel are very good with a decent sized pool, Jacuzzi, steam room and gym available to guests. The breakfast is one of the best I've had at a hotel. Used both the bar and restaurant for evening meals. Service very good and food excellent. Room clean, tidy and comfortable. Looking forward to returning here. "
