"Property was exactly as advertised. Charming Farmhouse with plenty of space situated on a large property with a private beach. We even enjoyed some of the local restaurants, Captain Pat's Seafood and Tacos Haciendas."

"Very interesting home with a lot of family history. Piano. Guitar. Amazing dining room table. Wonderful upstairs suite with other bedrooms two floors away so lots of privacy. Kitchen looked well stocked although we ate all our meals at a relative’s home. I didn’t cook at all. Beach is lovely!"

"What a peaceful little oasis along the water! My daughter and I stayed here for a swim meet at St. Mary’s College of Maryland. It was a perfect distance from the college, about 5 minutes. The house was very clean, modern, eloquently decorated and equipped with kitchen basics. The bed was very comfortable, which is bonus when staying away from home. The doc was so beautiful and we enjoyed sitting and watching the ducks in the afternoons. We will definitely return when it is warmer and highly recommend this wonderful home!"

"This home sits right on the water! It is beautiful! We watched ships roll by, ducks bobbing on the water, and flocks of geese flying and landing on the water. The view from both lower and upper decks are amazing! We spent lots of time on the decks even though it was cold - we just covered ourselves with blankets. The hosts are wonderful people, always kind and patient, and gave great recommendations on shopping, sightseeing, and restaurants. They were very communicative and answered all my questions. I highly recommend this amazing beach home!"

"We loved UpYonda! Erin and Mark are so nice and easy to communicate with. The home is beautiful and there really is everything you need there. The suite upstairs is beautiful and huge!! The view of the water is amazing and the wildlife was stunning. We saw a fox, Blue Heron and got video of an Otter rolling around in the snow on the dock! The stargazing is fantastic and we made a snowman. We loved it. "

"Our family was gathering in Heathsville for Christmas and additional accommodations were needed to ensure everyone’s comfort over the holiday. While much of our time was spent at ‘Grandma’s house’ a few miles away, this was the perfect place for us to enjoy late evenings and early mornings. Cousins could be heard laughing long into the night as they caught up in the ‘loft room’, each morning started with a stroll in the dock, and days ended by gazing at the stars.Despite a slight communication issue prior to the reservation date (which VRBO’s help center quickly worked to resolve), the owner’s information was thorough, timely, and super helpful. He even ensured that the house was warmed to a comfortable temperature upon our arrival.Just flagging for future guests that linens and towels are not provided, including hand and dish towels.We had a wonderful time, loved the location, and will certainly consider returning when we can enjoy the waterfront activities more fully.
