There is a mini mart right next to the building and also a fruit mart in front of the building. We ate at a local bakery in our street and also walked to other coffee shops in the mornings. "Great location near the Galata tower. The apartment had great views overlooking the city and even better views from the terrace up stairs. The only negatives were the bed was broken so had a very bad sag. I ended up sleeping on the couch. Be aware the stairs are very steep, especially if carrying up luggage. There is no lift"
