"Just a short getaway two hours from home, but just enough to have a pleasant evening with a friend. Do a lot of shopping a little eating, and a lot of walking. This location made it easy to get to the waterfront with shops and restaurants. Home was lovely. Plenty of room and coffee. would definitely give this a 10 and recommend."

"I was worried about bringing two toddlers and a golden retriever to a rental, but this house was just the best as it had everything we could think of and loved being literal steps from the beach! "We stay at this property the week after Xmas to catch up with teens/adult kids. The 4 bedrooms are perfect and the area is very close to beach access. There is a great area for family games. The TV is big enough for football fans to be happy :) Linens are provided. Beds are very comfortable. Pets are welcome and taking the dogs on the beach is one of my very favorite aspectsThanks to Tom for SAVING us when we locked ourselves out!!!"

"This is our 5th year staying at the North Carolina beaches and this was by far the best place yet. It is dog friendly, all sheets and towels are extremely fresh and clean, beds are comfortable, matching glassware, plates, pots, pans etc for anything you want to cook. Easy access to the beach and the views are right on the beach and the sound. There are enough beach chairs and 2 sturdy kahaks to enjoy in the sound. We are definetely looking at staying at this place again next year!! "

"The home is beautiful, the location is perfect, and the views are amazing! You are right on the sound and across the street from the beach. Walking distance to local shops, bars, and grocery store. "Parking was further than anticipated, the room key pad was confusing and locked us out immediately and we had to use the key on the table, luckily security was able to unlock our door for us so we could get ready and make it to our event on time. There was some damage to the bathroom cabinet towards the bottom when we arrived and stains on the bedroom carpet, clean other than that. Beautiful views, felt very secure, and in walking distance from everything we needed. "
