"Lovely pub, great food, great rooms, excellent value and dog friendly. What's not to like? A huge "thank you" to everyone we met, who made me, my son and my pup so welcome. Thank you for "the doggy ploughmans!" We'll be back!"

"We enjoyed our one night stay that included a nice breakfast. We stayed in a comfort room which is very small but adequate for just one night. It had all the necessities including a hair dryer. The pub menu is good and we were happy the staff could provide a dinner on a Sunday evening. "

"I was put in a room with 3 single beds. I tried all 3 and they were all extremely uncomfortable. The room is very run down and dirty. The bathroom was cold as the heating didn't work and the shower does not have enough power to have a decent shower. All in all it was an awful experience"
