"Great stay, room was lovely and really comfy bed. Both the room and bathroom had heating so even in December it was nice and warm. Nathalie was a great host :) - I was able to use the microwave and cutlery etc to warm my dinner as I was exhausted after a long ride. I had to leave by 7am so she left me coffee, toast, and lovely home made jam so that I could have breakfast before I left. My little dog and me felt right at home. Thanks again :) "

"Very quirky property, traditional French style in middle of St Valery with everything this beautiful town has to offer on the doorstep. Public parking available on the road just up from hotel. We stayed in Lawrence of Arabia suite which was interesting. Room to spread out in living area. Breakfasts are fantastic, with lovely fresh produce. Lovely host. "

"Chance au Roy is situated in the countryside outside Aigneville. The accommodation is part of an estate, the owners living in a chateau the accommodation is in the grounds. It’s a beautiful setting but in need of some restoration. When we arrived we had a lovely welcome from Elizabeth the owner, she hadn’t been expecting us, despite booking ,but showed us a room that was available. "This is a must. The owners are the best hosts we have come across they made us so welcome, rooms are immaculate large clean and so beautifully decorated and furnished. Wish we could have stayed longer and definitely will be back. An easy 50 minute drive from Calais into the Somme countryside."
