"Location- this property is located in town. Everything is within walking distance. Hiking trails are right outside the door. It's a cute little town. Check-in- The property owner is very responsive and provided everything I needed for a smooth check in. The keys were easily accessible. Parking- the property owner provided me with multiple options for parking. As a foreigner, I was not able to understand some of them and wasn't comfortable parking in some of them, but there is lots of parking. Property- we rented both apartments. Each is great for 2 people. They contain everything you need for a comfortable stay. Both are very clean. Loved the balcony. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the musty smell. I could smell it from the hallway upon entry, and it is very strong in the bathroom of the apartment on the right. I'm very grateful for the opportunity to stay in this property and thank the owner for making it available!"

"There aren't a ton of options in Archen, but I was there unexpectedly with a motorcycle breakdown. This hotel was clean and worked perfectly for me. There are dining options within walking distance and I enjoyed their covered outdoor space in the front during a thunderstorm last night!"

"This was a lovely hotel. However, be warned that if you book a room based on the picture you will be let down- there was no four-poster bed in our room. Actually although we had clearly booked a Kat4 room with a balcony, the first room we were allocated had no balcony and a view from the window of a wall. We complained and were then given a slightly larger room with a shared balcony, but no sign of the four poster bed. Breakfast was fine, and the breakfast staff were lovely. "
