"Beautiful lodge on a big lake. Nyala wandering around the tents, noisy birds at night. We could see hippos in the lake and deer the other side. Fun trip to see the meerkats - we had to be patient, but six of the eventually appeared. Nice to see Springbok and Gnus too "

"Very nice, but the night before we were to arrive we were told the swimming pool was not functioning. Bearing in mind the one day was in the mid thirties, this was disappointing. Our room had an artisan working all day, on both sides of us. One night I had to ask him to stop hammering on our walls at 8 o' clock at night. The hotel staff and very nice and considerate. management need to up their game."

"The location and grounds were stunning and incredibly well kept. The children had lots of green space to play and explore and be up close with the animals. Highly recommend the sundowner game drive and dinner, Elton is so knowledgeable abour everything! and he is a natural storyteller. The ostrich tour was fantastic too, Zenith was friendly and informative and you could tell loved the ostriches. Overall just a brilliant stay and all staff we met were helpful and friendly. "Marie is a warm and inviting host, nothing appears to be too much trouble. Our room was spacious with an outdoor seating & patio area. The guest house is on the edge of town and so we used a cab service when heading out for dinner in the evening.
