"very modern, updated, well appointed house. Exceptionally clean, has everything needed for our stay. Multi-generational family used primarily to visit Mt Rushmore, Crazy horse and surrounding areas. When needed, owners very responsive. Loft area with ping pong table was nice for younger people in our party to enjoy. Beautiful space to look at the stars"

"We came into town for the Buffalo Roundup so needed a large house to accommodate everyone. This place was GREAT. Wonderful location in Custer but away from everyone. So peaceful. The house had everything we could have wanted and was very clean. Wish we could have stayed longer."

"It is exactly how described and more!! So clean, and they go above and beyond as far as things that are supplied. The views are breath taking, especially at night when mt rushmore is lit! In the morning the deer all gather in the yard for their breakfast, asking with bunnies around all day, and turkey! It is peaceful and serene! I highly recommend this home, the inside is decorated so nice, they really put allot of thought into it. Communication is great as well!! We had such a great time...

"This was the perfect place for us to stay on our week away during spring break. We stayed with my parents as well as our children, 3 and 6 y/o. There is plenty of space and the loft is great for a little separation when needed (our kids spent some time drawing and doing crafts upstairs). The hot tub is lovely, kitchen is nicely stocked with supplies. They really have thought of everything - plenty of towels, night lights, extra toiletries, games, lots of blankets. Jack was great at communicating...

"Owner was very good about keeping in contact with us if we had issues. The gas tanks were out of gas and before the owner could come with another tank we bought another one since we wanted to grill--she did offer to pay us back for that. Enjoyed the roominess of the house with 4 bedrooms and another area that had a bed with a sitting area. Patio on the front and deck on the back was especially enjoyable for our meals. Unfortunately, for the owner, it looks like some past guests took some framed...

Well appointed (could have used soap in two of the three showers; also make sure you bring your own food wrapping and storage items as well as coffee). We had two minor problems. Smoke alarm with no way to fix. And strong sewer smell coming out of bathroom next to the laundry. Called the management company and problems were resolved. "

"This was a great place to stay. The cabin was wonderful, the quiet was excellent, and it was easy to access. I would have given 5 stars, but some basic amenities like hand soap and shower soap should be provided or it could be clearer that these basics will not be there. An extra blanket for anyone staying during the colder months would also be appreciated. Other than that, I loved it!"

"Our short stay went well. We were only there for 2 nights with our dog but found the property owner and her dogs very nice. There are four pugs who you'll likely see a few times during your stay, so be aware of your pets if you bring them. The main house where the property owner lives is just far enough away to provide privacy. Everything was clean and well kept."
