Fitz Roy is the main street in Palermo Hollywood with all the best bars and restaurants (Hierro, El Dandy, Sudestada, Crizia, and many more), and this apartment is right in the heart of it all, on the 4th floor and surrounded by trees.

This high-end luxury apartment has been equipped with only the best furnishings and appliances. The high-end La Cardeuse mattress may be spilt from a queen to two twins if desired and with the pull-out couch bed, the apartment can accommodate up to 3 guests.

Wonderful time in Palermo
This studio apartment is a perfect spot to enjoy Buenos Aires. It was well situated near many restaurants, cafes, food stores, and public transportation. Beautiful parks are just a short walk away too. It was clean and well stocked with kitchen supplies. The balcony was lovely to have a meal overlooking the neighborhood greenery. The only complaint were the lack of windows or a screen on the balcony so we had to use the air conditioning at night. But I definitely recommend this apartment!

Perfect apartment
The apartment is as described. The washing machine available in the building is free and easy to use. There are two buses stops on the next block that take you into the center of the city. It was very easy to use the train, subway and buses staying in this apartment. The balcony is excellent. The large refrigerator helps and there are many supermarkets within walking distance.

Our vacation was great. BA exceeded all expectations. Beginning with this beautiful apartment, very well located within the city, the people so welcoming and nice. All the places to visit. Haven in Palermo Hollywood
The location of this place can't be beat – tons of coffee shops, restaurants, bakeries, and bodegas (called kioskos in Spanish) within walking distance. The apartment itself has a lovely kitchen, comfortable mattresses (two twin beds that can be combined to form one queen-sized bed), and a powerful, hot shower. There are a few details that need fixing (e.g., door handle to the apartment jiggles, some paint work on the walls), but nothing major that affected our stay. We enjoyed our time here!

Andy our Host welcomed us with a bottle of Malbec, water and some fruit! He laid out the neighborhood for us and gave us some suggestions for restaurants, bars, clubs, shopping and Tango shows! Andy comunicates with his guests on a regular basis and if you do have questions or problems he attends to these concerns quickly! We would highly recommend staying here if you want a good loxation with access to everything! John n Marcia

Andy is a super host
The apartment is very nice and has everything to make a stay nice (nice hot shower, comfortable bed, well equipped kitchen with wine glasses etc). The balcony is a definite plus and felt bigger then on the picture. There now also is a table in the living area, if you need to do some work. There are plugs for European and US devices. The neighborhood is fantastic with great places to eat (great cafe across the street and a really good grill next door). Despite that it is not too loud at night. It gets a little louder in the morning when regular work traffic starts. The absolute best thing about the apartment is the host Andy!!! He was so responsive and accommodating with great tips on where to go and practical advice on how and where to exchange money. Overall a great stay.

This is a Great Place to Stay in Palermo
My wife and I recently stayed here for a week and it was enjoyable from start to finish. We had no troubles at all and would recommend this unit to anyone looking for a one bedroom studio apartment in the Palermo area. Specifically, the unit is clean and well equipped. It is comfortable and safe. I should say that as Americans, we were a bit concerned when our cab driver let us out because of the graffiti throughout the neighborhood. It made us wonder if we had made the right choice. However, once we unpacked and started moving around the neighborhood, this perception changed and we became quite fond of the neighborhood. There are quite a few excellent restaurants within easy walking distance. In fact there is a steakhouse right next door. There are grocery stores close by, along with bars, bus stops, and metro stops (beginning in March). Sante Fe Ave is a 5 minute walk and then you’re at a major urban area. The unit itself is plenty big enough for 2 people. The a/c works well; also the wi-fi. The bed is comfortable and the street level noise did not bother me. Finally, Andy is a great host and you will enjoy working with him.

Very Comfortable and Convenient Apartment
Andy was a wonderful host. It was our first time to Argentina and we appreciated his meeting us and giving us much useful information - including a Subte card. The apartment is in a great location for restaurants, easy access to the subway and lots to see within walking distance. It was very comfortable and had everything we needed.

Fantastic location. Host was very accommodating and easy check in. Was able to walk to many area restaurants, grocery store and gardens in the area. Short walk to subway with easy public transit through Buenos Aires. Property was comfortable and we had no concerns with street noise unlike some other guests (5th floor with trees on the street muffled noise - might be different in the winter). Everything worked as advertised in the apartment, but like many properties that have some age there were some signs of wear and tear. We felt that we got a good value for what we paid for the property and enjoyed our stay. Would come back without hesitation.

Nice Perch!
Wonderful place to hang while getting to know BA. Lots of restaurants on every corner, lots of markets from corner fruit stands to the the SuperJumbo about six blocks away, with medium sized mercados on every corner. The apartment and kitchen are well equipped and laid out, though small (obviously). Quiet, it’s not. Fitz Roy is a very busy, though small street so all traffic noise comes straight up to the balcony windows. And, while we were there, for eight weeks, we counted six major construction projects on-going simultaneously within a block of the apartment. You can close the doors and use the a/c, which works well, and it’s quiet at night, generally. Furnishings could use some updating, especially the living room carpet, seating, and couch. Our TV was generally limited to BBC and Netflix. But, all in all a great location! Responsive manager Andy and don’t miss the Von Berry coffee house across the street. VeryCool place, especially in the afternoon heat!

Cozy spot on treelined street
The apartment was nice for me and my son. I was alone often and still I felt cozy in this divided studio. The balcony had trees above and around because there was no balcony above mine. I used the the roof terrace occasionally to get sun and went in the water once (it was about 2 ft deep). There are great restaurants, cafes, and spots to get fruits and necessities close by plus I could walk to a lot of other areas and spots in Palermo ( I walked to palermo Soho, Plaza Italia, the move theatre, Arcos, Dorrego market and Collegiales). Andy was quick to respond to ANYTHING that needed attention. I would sit on the terrace to people watch and get air. I would have spent more time there but it was really loud with car traffic and construction. I would walk to a plaza or cafe to read, etc if I needed more quiet but wanted to be outside. The kitchen had everything I needed and it was nice to have Netflix. I liked the decor and felt at home here!

A perfect place in the Palermo district with easy access to Buenos Aires
There's not much to say except that this is a fantastic apartment for two if you want to spend some time in Buenos Aires. Dave and Andy have clearly thought of everything in outfitting the apartment from a fully equipped kitchen to (excellent) wi-fi and a free telephone service to the US and Canada as well as lots of materials in the apartment to help you orient yourself to the city. The balcony is shaded by giant street sycamores and overlooks a lively street scene. (But no problem sleeping with the double-paned patio doors, blackout shades and the fact that the bedroom is on the back of the apartment). Can't say enough positive about the neighborhood; a very good small grocery just around the corner and many excellent restaurants within walking distance. It was our first trip to BA and--if you haven't been before--you're in for a treat with ;beautiful parks, great museums (particularly Malba, the museum that features Latin American artists) as well as streets that are just pleasant to walk. We're not great shoppers, but--if you are--it's obvious from walking around the city that you'll be happy to whip out your credit card. And don't hesitate to use cabs which are metered and extremely reasonable compared to most major cities. And, having rented dozens of VRBO/Homeaway properties, I can truthfully say Dave and his brother-in-law Andy rank at the top in terms of advice, responsiveness and helpfulness. Our rental ended at 11 a.m. on a Friday, but our plane to the US was not leaving until late in the day. Even though another couple was coming in right behind us, Andy worked out a way for us to leave our suitcases until we were ready to leave for the airport. Dan and Jane Carter North Carolina, USA
