Disliked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, listing accuracy
No communication and no electricity!
Prior to our arrival, the host did not respond to my messages through VRBO and WhatsApp. When we got to the building, the janitor told us the power was out because of construction on the street, but it "should come back" later. He messaged the host, who finally responded to me, and after a half-hour wait, told me they could put us in another apartment, in another neighborhood, and with no air-conditioning. I said that wasn't acceptable and we booked a hotel instead. I also learned that for this host, the photos on VRBO aren't necessarily for the unit or building you end up in. This was the one time I booked a place with no reviews and I won't make that mistake again. Stay away from this one!
