"Zida is an amazing person. She not only checked us in with ease and speed, she personally took us to our room, made sure everything was perfect, she did anything we asked. This place is in a remote but beautiful location, we loved it so much we added a night to our stay. They included an amazing delivered to your table continental breakfast, free bottle of wine, 15 minute massage, and 2 welcome drinks from the bar. We upgraded the massage to an hour for very little extra. The massage was awesome. Rosy has magic in those hands. We loved seeing the whales, Mobula rays, dolphins, and more. We didn’t snorkel yet but have been told it’s excellent. The value of this place is maybe the best I’ve ever experienced. The sunrises are beautiful if you can wake up early enough to see them. All in all we loved the place. "

"If you like to be away from it all, this is the place. Beautiful waterfall, close to hot springs, hiking. The people running the lodge are great and the food is out of this world. No refrigerators so plan accordingly if you are making your own food. One building is your bathroom and bedroom and the second building is the kitchen and dining area with two additional places to either sleep or sit. Can go on top of the second building above the kitchen for sunsets and bird watching. Very peaceful and the other guests were very nice. "

"Staff were wonderful, the hot tub of mineral water was superb, the pool a bit chilly but delightful. Their taco Tuesday is not to be missed. And the beach is gorgeous and clean, with nice lounging furniture. The only odd note is the parts of the property that are in a state of decay— a convention center, another pool and hot tub that are decommissioned."

"This little casa was my fav vaca rental. The private and outdoor space (upstairs balcony and downstairs courtyard) really expands the useable area creating a much larger feel complete with a small pool and hot tub. Centrally located in the SBV and directly across main dirt road from a small convenience store. The interior/exterior has been intricately designed with lots of detail. The hosts are very responsive and will have any question quickly answered or resolved. Look forward to returning. "

"Rancho BV is so wonderful! It is one of the oldest properties in Baja! Staff is so kind and helpful — Arturo is MVP! He always had answers to any questions we had, even helped us secure a car to drive around town (his own!). The property is “tired” but very clean and well kept. The “coffee time” restaurant was super cute and delicious (we only had coffee and breakfast, but saw others dining and it looked wonderful, too). The pool and bar is literally right on the beach, so even if the ocean was too chilly to swim you could still enjoy the beach and ocean view from poolside. Location is perfect — very secluded, but only about a 4-5min drive into Los Barriles. Overall, an excellent spot to visit and relax! Thank you Rancho staff for a wonderful trip! 😊 "
