"The idea of "Panama time" was prevalent on property. After traveling all day room was 2 hours behind for being ready, no keys given until requested on 2nd day, dinner offer by owners personal chef not prepared on time (left after waiting too long). BUT the owner constantly tried to make up for many things and that was appreciated. The dock was nice to relax on. The crew took people out for boat rides daily. Biggest problem was the restaurant under new management. Arrogant and lacked cooking...

"This was a good, low-budget find in high-budget Panama City. Pros: Nice neighbourhood, large kitchen, workable WiFi. Cons: Paid for breakfast through the booking which wasn't provided (although we did negotiate a discount), got downgraded to a worse room, some of the bathroom doors didn't have locks. Good if you're not high maintenance"

The manager explained that the website stated that there is only a fan in the room. The manager also stated that for the price, we should not expect AC. "Hotel has new owners, staff is polite but too informal. Hotel didn't receive our reservation and couldn't process credit cards. Room was extremely small with private bathroom with less than 400 sq ft total.Renovations look like they were done with recycled materials and ended like a bad DIY project. Very old beds in room and limited closet/storage. Expected a little better since the hostel is a converted house in a good neighborhood. Only spent one night."
