"Beautiful hotel and wonderful location for hiking and birding. The swimming pool was immaculate. Food was overpriced, but really good. The resort is rather isolated, so you are paying for convenience. There is a local restaurant in town that is a half mile walk if you want to save."

"I like the Marriott brand for its reliability, cleanliness and amenities and this hotel did not disappoint. It is a great location if you are in Panama to shop but also the staff was great organising tours. The property is recommended if you want to have value for money and convenience."

"Hotel was really great, lovely big room, we were upgraded too which was a nice surprise and very much appreciated. The room has a great view over some of the city, was very modern and clean and had all the amenities we needed. Breakfast was brilliant, plenty of choice. All the staff were really friendly and helpful which is very important to us and made us feel comfortable staying there. I didn’t really like the area outside, felt a bit uncomfortable and unsafe but that was just me, we Ubered to all the places we wanted to go to as there was nothing within walking distance. We ate in the hotel restaurant every night which was really good food and reasonably priced. Fantastic stay and would definitely stay again "

"I had the best time at this hotel ! Due to the extremely reasonable price I was a bit worried that the hotel would be bad but it exceeded my expectations. I typically stay at another popular hotel when I’m in Panama but I decided to give principe a try and it did not disappoint. The room was clean and comfortable there was no fridge, microwave or iron but we knew that before booking and those things didn’t matter to us really , the bed was super clean and comfortable and the staff was amazing especially the bellmen ! There is an amazing Caribbean Asian restaurant right next door , we ate there every night ! There is also a cafe right next door where you can grab water and snacks if needed ! Based on the price we paid the hotel exceeded our expectations ! We were two black female travelers and felt super safe ! I’d definitely return! It’s also pretty close to both Albrook Mall and multiplaza ."

"It does need some upgrading however its a wonderful setup and a great place to stay. Beds and pillows were very comfortable! Room with a balcony is a must! Great place for kids, lots of wildlife. Don't need to be a golfer to enjoy this place."
