"Great location, 20 minutes from Old Town, 10 minutes from Universitate metro, but on a busy road so you may want to keep the windows shut. Fortunately there is efficient air conditioning (controlled by a remote). Clean, comfortable, with a small kitchenette (fridge, sink, microwave, kettle). I kept the blinds closed against the heat and the workmen outside, and then found the lighting a little dim. Brighter bulbs and/or a bedside light would be welcome."

"Excellent location! Within walking distance of everything. There is a basic kitchen. They kindly stored our suitcases while we visited another city and came back. We were sent clear instructions to get. We mentioned that there were.cockcroches inside the unit and were told they would be dealt with. There were still some cockroaches upon returning. The control for the AC was broken, so we were hot! "

"An absolutely fantastic place to stay in Bucharest. Very nice part of town, across the street from a fantastic restaurant and a wonderful, very large park on a lake. Easy walking to many dining, shopping and experience options. My room was absolutely fabulous, four stars plus for sure. Most of all, the service was excellent. Ask and you shall receive! "

"We had some initial issues with Expedia putting this apartment in Old Town when it is not, luckily we managed to upgrade on the way there to one that is. Unfortunately by coincidence our upgrade then suffered a burst pipe so George upgraded us again to the property next door! Both apartments were lovely regardless! Thank you George for all your help, you were invaluable. "

"Excellent location and very comfortable studio apartment. There are plenty of restaurants and attractions within walking distance. Radu is excellent at communicating and providing helpful suggestions! He is a gem. He picked me up from the airport and pointed out attractions and their historical context on the way to the apartment. I highly recommend this apartment!"

"The area is great, within walking distance from Old Town. The apartament is rather spacious, and nicely furnished. The floors are very creaky and you can hear every noise from the street. "I have stayed here a few times and like it a lot. It’s v close to Piata romana. Small problems are: the internet is patchy. It’ll sometimes drop for no reason, and won’t appear on WiFi for a little while. Secondly, I’m uncertain that they change the door pass code. I usually ask for the bedroom key so that I can lock it at night and also when I go out. "

"As a frequent traveller this was the worst experience anyone can ever imagine. This was an apartment privately hosted. There was no mention of any additional fees upon booking the apartment. when i arrived at the apartment location, I was unable to locate it, i asked the neighbouring shops and they were not aware of the apartment. Felt like a new property, the location was perfect, the only drawback was every time I walked out there were either 1) restaurant workers smoking on the entryway 2) people congregating smoking/drinking by the entryway 3) homeless people sleep on the entryway. "Great room, clean and a reasonable size for the price. Was lovely having the pool and gym free to use downstairs too! Also really convenient to get to the university metro station, just a 5 minute walk away. Just note, the hotel does not use key cards and instead emails you a code at 3pm to check in, so you won’t be able to check in early as it is an automated email!"

Hard to beat hotel in Bucharest Old Town

"Great hotel in a prime position. Breakfast good selection but need better facilities to keep food hot - all was luke warm. A second coffee machine is also needed. The staff at breakfast worked tirelessly to keep everything well stocked. Thank you all for a lovely stay. "
