"Location was great. Right in the middle of the city center, 15min walk to popular beaches, 20min walk to train station. The place was old but it is in an old area so it was to be expected. I had a twin room to myself and it was in the top floor and it had a balcony. Pretty good! Staff was friendly. "Had an amazing stay at the hostel. Staff was super friendly and helpful, the place is in great condition and has a beautiful yard with a swimming pool, orange trees and a volleyball field. "My review is difficult as we arrived to be told that a computer malfunction meant that our 2 rooms were occupied. We agreed to move to another hostel, it was good. They should have notified us before. Also payment has been taken out and paid back 4 times now, incurringinternational currency charges each time. I have requested an explanation, but no answer so far. They need to work on their communication."

"Everything went well as far as hostels go, but if you want a good night’s sleep on a weekend, the area around here is so loud with partiers on the street coming out of bars. I slept maybe 2 hours due to the noise. I only stayed one night, thankfully. I wish I had booked elsewhere. "

"Villa was good. Shower in one bedroom is a bit dangerous as it sprayed water on tile floor which was then very slippery. One of our group fell getting out of it. Bathrooms could use more light. washer and dryer unti were hard to figure out. Staff were very nice and helpful "

"Immaculately clean and well-equipped apartment, the perfect size for 2-4 people. Beach was a few steps away and lots of restaurants and small supermarket were within easy walking distance. We had a car to visit nearby towns, but free parking was readily available in the middle of Salema. My only recommendation would be for a table fan in the bedroom to keep the room cooler at night. "
