"The hotel was beautiful but a bit old…the carpets were stained and some of the molding was crumbling off and one room had a broken lock/latch. The cleaners Askari did not respect my do not disturb sign and I didn’t notice until much later that my change was missing. I did let front desk know re entering even though DND was on the door. The buffet/breakfast was great. The spa was nice but they rescheduled me 3 times. Kristina was amazing! The spa also charged me for the wrong service but called...

"My stay was absolutely perfect. The location is walkable to almost everything and is so beautifully situated right across from the river. The restaurant and bar were excellent. But what stood out the most was the hospitality and attention to detail. "

"The shower was broken. I told the concierge on the first day, and after 4 nights there it was still not fixed. It floods past my ankles and sprayed everywhere and the shower head kept falling. Additionally, my water bottles were not replaced daily (even after leaving a note asking the cleaning person). I had to ask multiple times for more toiletries. Very clean though and beautiful property. Just a little "grey gardens-y""

"The hotel feels stuck in the 80s. Decor of the whole place is fairly grim. Rooms are big but we had no working fridge, tea or coffee making facilities or functioning air con. The air con turned on but sure as hell didn't do much and mostly smelled of cigarettes. As it was 35 degrees outside that was the major disappointment. Also the fuse box in the room tripped at least 2 times a day so we plunged into darkness randomly. On the plus side, the shower we had was good and when we got a fan from...

"Lovely little boutique hotel in a great location at Buda Castle. Quiet at night and has a great restaurant. Would happily visit again. Our suite was spacious and well appointed. "
