"We very much enjoyed staying at Soaring Eagles Chalet… 8 of us, including our young adult children and partners (ages15-22). Enough space for us all to be comfortable, and all the amenities were fabulous. Quiet and peaceful, hot tub views were awesome, morning coffees on the deck fantastic. Our hosts were quick to respond to inquiries, and very helpful with tips for hiking and exploring the area. Qualicum Beach was close enough for convenient grocery runs or meals out. "My friend (with infant) and I came to the island to visit and soak up some nature. Our stay in Buckley Bay provided beautiful views of the bay, with frequent visits from the seals and otters. The location, while a little ways outside of the main centres, was only a short drive to get to a cafe, nature walks, and restaurants. The house feels very spacious with large bedrooms and ample sitting space to cozy up with a cup of tea or good book."
