"For a last minute booking it was alright, I thought at first … bates motel, but when I got in the room, I was pleasantly surprised,there was tea/coffee, it was clean and comfortable… the bar manager who runs it was lovely , and the breakfast was alright too, and what’s better in these times of living is everything was reasonably priced… would I stay again … yeah why not "

"Absolutely beautiful room, lovely and warm especially after arriving cold from our motorcycle journey. Interior design was well thought, well stocked fridge with complimentary lager.sat on the roof terrace on Halloween listening to the owls in the woods , breakfast was great with a good choice, will definitely be back"

"Bathroom could use a little TLC but fit for purpose. Amazing breakfast that more than made up for any minor cosmetic items. The land-people, actually all of the staff were so welcoming. Definitely worth a visit or night over."

"Delightful Tudor pub with 7 bedrooms in a quiet village. Tis was a perfect stopover and we particularly enjoyed the breakfast in the main pub area in the morning. Will definitely come back and recommend."

"We were upgraded when we arrived to a room at the front with sea views from both windows. There was a nespresso machine and coffee and tea facility’s. The room rate included breakfast which was a choice of fruit, pastry’s breads and jams and a choice of various cooked breakfasts we out juice and hot drinks. The breakfast was lovely and the staff helpful and friendly . Highly recommend a stay here. "

"Wonderful from start to finish! Beautiful rooms which are set round the back of the pub and are more like little houses! Felt so safe and slept so well, the beds are like clouds! Beautiful quaint little pub where we had our breakfast the next day which was cooked to perfection! Leah was very attentive and the perfect host. The rooms were very clean and had everything you need! "

"The family rooms more like an apartment were excellent. Everything you needed in the room including dvds for the kids. The host was brilliant and locals in the bar were welcoming. The location and setting lovely. Would recommend to stopping here"

"Delightful inn with lovely views across the river and surrounding countryside. Staff are friendly, welcoming and helpful. The room, although compact, had everything we needed with ample storage for a few days clothing, a comfortable bed and tea & coffee facilities. The ensuite had a good, but not spacious, shower, however, the window was clear glass without a blind and it did feel like you were a little exposed when using the bathroom. "Most beautiful country home to stay in. Very cozy and warm. Hosts were very nice and we enjoyed our chats with them. It’s a working farm and my husband coming from the farm really enjoyed that. Our best stay here in Wales or Britain as we are here for 6 weeks in all. Very nice walks on the road and the villages were beautiful. Very quiet stay as well and the bed was excellent. Very important. "

"Fabulous property in a perfect location. Communication with Tony, was excellent from start to finish. The property was everything we needed for the week, even if the weather maybe was not. A fabulous space even with 3 teenagers. But the piece de resistance has to be the view! We could have sat on that deck all day every day and never moved! It was mesmorising. I know we'll be back again in the future x the week"
