"The restaurant and bar are great. Good food and drinks. The hotel is somewhat dated and the rooms could use a facelift for sure. Beds uncomfortable, but it was clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Good for a one night stay."

I was treated to a local Scottish folk song jam session in the bar since I landed there on their regular meeting night. Very welcoming crowd. Great fun! It’s a country inn, not a hotel, but it’s perfect accommodations if you’re traveling by car. Close to Stirling Castle, Wallace monument and other sites of interest. "
