"This was the perfect place for me and a friend to spend Christmas! Roanoke and the surrounding area has so many things to do, and the downtown is very walkable. Additionally, the place had everything we could possibly want for cooking, baking, and overall just a wonderful Christmas vacation. Separate rooms far enough away from each other that it didn't feel uncomfortable like sharing a hotel room, with enough common spaces to hang out during the day. Host communicated well and was very available...

"The apartment is in an old house. There have been some updates but nothing too crazy. It was clean and the location was great for walking to restaurants, little shops, bars or the park. Working with Irene was easy. She was quick to answer my questions. "

"Well-maintained older (1910) multi-family home on quiet street, very close walking distance to Grandin Village stores and restaurants. We had 3 generations stay here for a family gathering in Roanoke. Location is close to everything (though Roanoke streets themselves can be winding and confusing). Would definitely stay here again for future visits."

"Location is a quick walk to downtown. The accommodations were welcoming, cozy, quiet and clean. We enjoyed admiring the antiques and art too. We did not cook in the kitchen but it looked well stocked for cooking too. "

Street lights from the church across the street shined very brightly in the bedroom window so some room darkening curtains would be helpful. The only bathroom is in the bedroom so this was awkward with my friend staying with me. The host was quick to respond and helpful with questions."

"This is an unusual property. It is a reused building which is good but it is designed and updated very nicely. My unit would only fit 2 people at the most. It had a luxury dorm feel to it. It is secure and there are no stairs to climb. The location is great to quickly get almost anywhere in the Roanoke area. My host was very attentive and quickly answered any questions I had"
