"Our honeymoon was amazing staying at the Pod House. It was perfectly private and safe. The pool kept us cool along with being able to walk across the street to enjoy the ocean for snorkeling or just hanging in the water. We shopped at the farmers market, meat and bread stores to make delicious meals at the Pod House. Jen and staff were friendly and helpful with advice on where to go. Jen was kind enough to pick us up from the airport. Highly recommend staying here!"

"My husband and I stayed in this gorgeous property for five nights. We enjoyed every minute of the beautiful views, and infinity, pool, and open concept. Jack, the property assistant, took us on a fishing tour, a sandbar, and a local village. The snorkeling was exceptional. People amazing! I would recommend this to anyone."

"I booked thru Expedia for one night stay here and they never received my reservation…it was a headache trying to reach anyone on the chat option or the phone line trying to figure out what happened…and I didn’t have a hotel to stay last minute which was scary and left me in a vulnerable position…I’m never going to trust Expedia again…the hotel staff was nice though and I’ll go there and book directly with them next time "

"GOLDEN POINT RESORT HAS A BEAUTIFUL LOCATION AND GROUNDS, EASY TO FIND ON THE KINGS HIGHWAY AND SITUATED RIGHT ON THE OCEAN SHORE. IT IS CLOSE TO RAKIRAKI WHERE WE ENJOYED THE LOCAL SHOPPING. THE ROOM WAS COMFORTABLE AND CLEAN. OVERALL THE RESORT AND RESTAURANT PROVIDED A WELCOMING ENVIRONMENT FOR TRAVELERS WITH A GREAT MENU, CHEF AND STAFF. THE RESORT OWNERS SUNNY AND ROCHELLE ARE TALENTED, FRIENDLY PEOPLE WHO GO OUT OF THEIR WAY TO MAKE YOU FEEL COMFORTABLE. THIS RESORT ALSO SPONSORS A TRULY UNFORGETTABLE DAILY BOAT TRIP TO VIEW SEALIFE, SNORKEL, VISIT A SANDBAR, AND GO HAND FISHING. "It was simple, clean. The staff is fantastic. Only thing id change is that id update the cigarette burned toilet seat and small table. Owners are lovely, (i totally put my foot in my mouth when i said koro is my fave! Yikes) The food was delicious and peggy couldnt have nbeen a better person. I came here to be with my dying father,, and the compassion and empathy that i was shown was so wonderful. "

"We stayed here for 24 days. One of the best Tanoa Hotels. Loved the atmosphere, the staff, the food, the surroundings, the whole ambience of this place. Just would like the Manager to know that he runs an amazing team. This is why we love Rakiraki and it will always be home. "
