Don’t expect Wi-Fi or full reception, it all depends on the direction of the wind but you mostly get 4g upstairs and outside. However the house was very dirty, the floor was greasy and slippery, the fridge had rotten food in it, there were no towels for showers. "This resort is clearly attuned to the 'customer experience'. Everything theyvdo focuses on whether the experience w/b enjoyed/appreciated bybthe customer. The dive operation is superb, the food service and food are outstanding, housekeeping is excellent, the service team is beyond warm and friendly -- the overall resort is beautifully comfortable. "

"GOLDEN POINT RESORT HAS A BEAUTIFUL LOCATION AND GROUNDS, EASY TO FIND ON THE KINGS HIGHWAY AND SITUATED RIGHT ON THE OCEAN SHORE. IT IS CLOSE TO RAKIRAKI WHERE WE ENJOYED THE LOCAL SHOPPING. THE ROOM WAS COMFORTABLE AND CLEAN. OVERALL THE RESORT AND RESTAURANT PROVIDED A WELCOMING ENVIRONMENT FOR TRAVELERS WITH A GREAT MENU, CHEF AND STAFF. THE RESORT OWNERS SUNNY AND ROCHELLE ARE TALENTED, FRIENDLY PEOPLE WHO GO OUT OF THEIR WAY TO MAKE YOU FEEL COMFORTABLE. "It was simple, clean. The staff is fantastic. Only thing id change is that id update the cigarette burned toilet seat and small table. Owners are lovely, (i totally put my foot in my mouth when i said koro is my fave! Yikes) The food was delicious and peggy couldnt have nbeen a better person. I came here to be with my dying father,, and the compassion and empathy that i was shown was so wonderful. "
