We hired a car but didnt really need it as there are many walk from the door and a regular bus service between mayrhofen and the lake at the very end of the valley. "We liked everything about this little apartment. We did not have a car, but the rental is just a 10 minute road and path walk from town and the bus station where we caught buses for hikes into the Dolomites. The apartment was just right for two people. We cooked many of our meals there after shopping at the well-stocked Conad grocery store. We would definitely stay here again."

"The view from our apartment was spectacular. The kitchen was adequately equipped. It would have been nice to have had a microwave oven. Martina was very responsive to our needs. "We flew to Innsbruck then took hire car (prepaid from Sixst) down to Bruneck - a short journey, though very dependent on traffic. The flat itself is very clean modern and comfortable and well equipped. And Andreas and his wife are very polite and obliging. We confirm that her strudel is delicious! There are a variety of good walks as well as skiing for all abilities in the area. We would definitely recommend it!"
