"Montisi is a quaint village that is anywhere from 10 minutes to one hour drive to fabulous hill towns and wine tasting. The house is simple but charming. We spent most of our time while at the house by the pool, dining on the terrace and enjoying the beautiful views and sunsets. "Nice house suitable for a family of 3-4. Two bed rooms, one with a double bed. Living room and well equipped kitchen. Very cozy property a kilometer or so from the town center. The host family lives in another house on the same property, and are very nice and hospitable, while not being intruding in any way. "The host was very welcoming upon arrival and gave us a great tour of the property along with some area history. Such a peaceful setting. Really enjoyed the patio upstairs off the bedroom. "This was a great villa in the Chianti region. The villa suited our group of six. The location was ideal for visiting Siena, Florence and surrounding towns. Roberto responded immediately to any questions we had. A welcome basket was wonderful, supplying any immediate breakfast or snack needs. The wine was a pleasant surprise also. Be sure to follow Roberto's written instructions to the villa. GPS gets you close but his instructions are needed! Would definitely recommend."
