"This is a beautifully furnished and restored house. The quality of the furnishings and kitchens and bath are excellent. The pool is beautiful and we loved the covered loggia area so you could lounge poolside but still have cover from the sun. Easy to get to several interesting towns including Montalcino, Pienza, Montepulciano. The house manager was very helpful and pre-shopped for groceries and is available to line up lots of activities. Definitely recommend a stay with family or friends."

The location is incredible -- extensive views from both sides of the property; the hilltop village setting is out of a postcard with lovely little streets and nooks to explore; and the local shops, market days, restaurants provide everything needed locally. "The house and location are perfect for a family holiday, the pool is lovely and there are plenty of covered areas in the garden in which to relax when the sun gets too hot! The proprietors are very accommodating and fixed any issues (washing machine failed during our stay) immediately. The only thing to be aware of is that the region near the lake does suffer from mosquitoes which come out in the evening - so take repellent with you as it’s expensive in Italy!"
