"The beds were very comfortable. Comfort and cleanliness are my top priority. This room could have been cleaner. There was a lot of wear and tear on the carpet, desk chair, bathroom walls and carpet. The desk chair had rips on the seat material. The bathroom wall behind the door was dirty. There were no washcloths which seemed kind of odd to me. There were plenty of bath towels and hand towels. The shower was clean, water pressure good. "

"IlWe went in the office season and literally had the entire house to ourselves. We had our own designated room but all the other guest rooms were open and it felt like being in a home and not a hotel. The bed was comfortable with plenty of blankets and nice pillows. Every room has a gas fireplace to provide heat. The whirlpool tub was outstanding. Breakfast was included and some of the best food I have had. So much good, we never went away hungry. All around a great trip. I will...

"The property is beautiful, even in the winter with no snow. We had great views of the Mississippi river and my wife and I enjoyed the break away from society. It was wonderful to listen to the wildlife. There were so many stars out during the cloudless nights as well - and the quiet was wonderful. It was broken every 40 minutes or so with the rumble of a train passing by, which we also enjoyed hearing. The breakfasts were served in room and were amazing as well. Galena was less than 15 minutes...
