"Friendly hotel with good location to explore Ambleside. Dog friendly and even though dogs are not allowed in the restaurant they set up a table in the lounge for you so your dog can accompany you and provide table service. Catered to my needs being gluten free and requiring soya milk and even made my decaffeinated coffee just how I liked it. Will definitely stay again 😄 xx"

"Lovely hotel near the centre of Keswick and not too far from the lake. We booked a lake view, the room was comfortable and warm. The room comes with a good breakfast to start your day. Parking is a bonus, we had to pay for this as we had not booked direct with the hotel. You can park for free out the front of the hotel if you are lucky to get a space. Staff are polite and friendly. Great weekend, thank you. "

"A lovely place in a beautiful area, ideally situated for a number of walks. The hotel is really nice and the room was large and well appointed. "Guys running it were friendly and happy to help. It is in a good location just 5 minutes walk from the centre of Keswick. Very dog friendly and it was obvious both guys loved dogs. Ðogs can go into dining area with you so no worries about leaving them in room. Gluten free breakfast available along with oat milk if required. "
