"Margarida guided us right in and was a most gracious hostess. The villa was built in 1698 with a chapel and ruined convent adjacent. We had everything we needed to prepare meals. The views were fantastic all around. The property is located within a working farm with sheep, cows and one fat hog. Super private. Close to Evora and other amazing towns. Villa is huge and roomy. "Cold, dark and with a strong smell of damp was our first impression of this property. On arrival (Sat.) we were met by a pleasant young woman, who spoke no English and who took away the voucher with the owner's telephone number (my oversight, should have made a copy). The hob had three gas burners and one electric plate: there was no way to light the gas (we don't smoke) and the electricity to the plate was turned off at the socket with a key. "The place was really beautiful and quiet. The balcony was a plus as you could relax there. The staff were very attentive. Leonel was especially sweet and thoughtful when we requested to take our order from the bar to our room. He carried 2 trays of food to our room, even though room service wasn’t available."

"A super cool campsite, really good conditions, comfortable and great views! We stayed at Neptune bungalow and it was great, amazing sunrise view to the lake. Safe, quiet, friendly staff, surrounded by nature. A really family friendly environment, would definitely come back. Plenty of parking spaces. "

"Great hotel and great amenities. The staff was amazing and so was the food. Unfortunately it is located in an area with little surrounding such as a supermarket, restaurants … also no phone service but a great WiFi coverage. Would definitely recommend for a relaxing holiday."
