The locale is great if you'd like to ditch your car and walk to restaurants; and bike on nearby trails! We are only cautioning that IF you plan to cook your own meals, the kitchen set-up is on the 2nd floor with the bedroom. I had never been to Acadia before and when I was unable to get a park pass at one of the service locations (off season) I was able to purchase it online and the owners were nice enough to print me a copy to display on my car dashboard"
